Serves 2 - Approx. 546 KCal per Burger

Ingredients (Serves 2 - 546 KCal Per Burger)

  • 500g Lean Beef Mince

  • 1 Medium Brown Onion (Peeled & Finely Chopped)

  • ½ Tsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1 Tsp Sweet Paprika

  • ½ Tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper

  • ½ Tsp Onion Salt (Or Sea Salt)

  • 1 Medium Egg (Beaten)

  • 2 x Brioche Buns

  • 4 Slices Cheddar Cheese

  • Drizzle of Ketchup

  • Drizzle of American Mustard

  • 2 x Pickles/Gherkins

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the Beef Mince, Onion (Save 1 Tbsp for later), Smoked Paprika, Sweet Paprika, Black Pepper & Onion Salt.

  2. Add the Beaten Egg, mix together then combine using your hands.

  3. Separate the Beef Mixture into 4 balls the same size, then shape into patties (You can use a Burger press for this step if you have one).

  4. Set the Uncooked Beef Patties aside and heat up little oil in a Pan or Skillet to Medium-High Heat, and add the Patties, cook for 5-6 Minutes on each side, once flipped when there is 2-3 minutes remaining, add a Slice of Cheddar to each Pattie and leave to finish cooking.

  5. Whilst the Patties are cooking, heat a separate pan to medium heat and lightly toast the cut sides of the Brioche Buns for 1-2 minutes each, keep checking as you don’t want them to burn, we just want a light crisp.

  6. Once the Patties and Buns are done, place 2 patties on top of each other on a Brioche Bun and top with a Drizzle of Ketchup, Drizzle of American Mustard, Sprinkle of Finley Diced Onion.

  7. Place the top of the Brioche bun on the burger and top with a Pickle/Gherkin (secure in place with a Food Stick).

  8. Serve with a side of Fries and Enjoy.
