Chinese style sticky Egg Fried Rice, perfect accompaniment to a Chinese Fakeaway meal.
Serves 4 - Approx. 177 KCal Per Portion
Ingredients (Serves 4 - Approx. 177 KCal Per Portion)
300g White Rice (Cooked)
½ Tsp Cooking Oil
3 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
¼ Tsp Chinese Five Spice
1/2 Cup Frozen Peas
1/2 Cup Finely Diced Carrot
¼ Tsp Salt
¼ Tsp Black Pepper
2 Large Eggs (Beaten)
2 Spring Onions (Sliced)
Cook the Rice as per the manufacturers packaging.
Heat the Oil in a Wok over Medium-High Heat
Add the Rice, Soy Sauce & mix until all of the rice is lightly coated
Add the Peas & Carrots and cook for 4-6 Minutes
Add the Five Spice, Salt & Pepper and mix in, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Create a circle in the centre of the Pan, pour in the beaten Eggs.
Leave for a few moments, as it starts to cook, stir it into the Rice.
Serve topped with Spring Onions
